Black onyx in glass
The project presented in the figure was implemented in our client’s apartment using “Black onyx” glass, which replaces the natural onyx stone. Tempered glass protect the glass panel 5 times better from impacts, and the laminating process (triplex), which takes place in our production, makes the products even safer and glass fragments remain on panel when broken.
The project was implemented through the following steps using various materials.
The height of the glass panel is 3,2 meters. The onyx texture was placed between two tempered glasses and baked in a special oven at high temperature. The thickness of the onyx glass panel is calculated as 13 mm.
- Metal construction of glass
In order for the glass to be at a distance of 10-12 sm from the wall, a metal frame was made at our production, which was attached to the wall will anchor bolts. The onyx glass panel is attached to the metal frame using special bolts. The onyx glass panel is attached to the metal frame using special bolts.
- Lightbox lighting
To illuminate the glass, like a natural onyx stone, LED stip is located inside the metal frame. The effect of natural stone is given by passing light through the natural white stone veins of black onyx.
A panel is one of the fashionable solutions in interior design; is can be made not only from natural stone, but also from texture of onyx and marble.
